Hi first time poster,

I am a member of my companys corporate scheme (which is VERY generous).

But I'm leaving in the near future and renewal isnt until March next year.

I'd renew now over the phone if I knew 100% that Qantas would say yes but if they say no they'll already know my identity and most likely ensure I dont renew under the corporate scheme in March.

So does anybody know if I could either

(a) renew right now or;

(b) renew in March using my current employers scheme number and QF wont ask questions?

Any advice will be appreciated...

Cheers

Welcome to AFF Travel_Mate :)

I have been through a similar scenario (many years ago). I was a QC member on a very cheap corporate scheme. I left the company, and the next renewal notice from QF, a year or two later, was fairly non-specific as in it did not explicitly ask me if I was still eligible for the company's scheme, so I signed up for a renewal. The following renewal notice 2 or 3 years later was however very specific and asked me if I was still eligible for the company's scheme, and noted that they may check my eligibility with the company. I knew the corporate scheme number, and could have risked it, but it was then that I joined via the corporate scheme here at AFF. Not nearly as big a saving, but still better than Joe Public joining as an individual.

As I said this was all a few years ago, so do not know the current situation.
