I have just priced a one-way flight from HKG -> PER on MH, Y class with a free hotel overnight in Kuala Lumpur Airport.
Economy: A$495

Then I priced the previous night at the Conrad Hilton in Hong Kong.
Cheapest Room: A$450

In what way?

I would never pay AUD450 for a hotel room. So the flight will always be better value.

Actually I think it's a flight AND a hotel room. Strange question for me, it's clear which wins.

Hours in the air versus hours on the ground divided by the cost. Hotel is always cheapest?

If I slum it in Y I will always have a very comfortable room waiting.
