I haven't flown emirates J for about 4 years until today . I still think that the same as 4 years ago , they still have the best J amenities pack I've ever had. (still got the old one at home )

So here's what you get :

Your pack comes in a protective draw string bag.

I've always liked that they include a little can of Gillette shave cream ( not the usual coughpy little tube)

The razor is a Schick 3 extreme . (although the handle has changed over the years. This one is plastic but the old one was ceramic )

- tooth brush
- tooth paste
- tissues
- Gillette shave cream
- Schick razor
- rexona deodorant.
- Bvlgari after shave emulsion, aftershave and lotion.
- comb / brush

Also like the pockets for everything ... Any other airline contenders ?

Absolutely agree. Great pack.
Have kept one intact in my wardrobe, for emergencies, knowing it has all my needs covered and in miniature

I discovered to my cost, when going through the scanner at BNE Intl transfers, that this can is an aerosol, which left me somewhat embarrassed as I was certain I didn't have any aerosols. After a little friendly banter with the security personnel, I just said "keep it" and moved on.

So now when I get an Emirates amenities pack I just pull out the shaving cream and throw it away. Saves a lot of hassles.

I got mine through several security scans in multiple countries!.... :) I've come to the conclusion that security guards are very over looking for small tubes of stuff and now I don't even bother putting stuff in a separate plastic bag in preparation.

Only had to take stuff out once in my last 12 international screenings. Terrible hit rate for security!

Europe is exceptionally lax about this.

Looks like a great kit.

Re the security guards I carried the CX F and J* J kits in my carry on luggage whilst in the US and was never questioned by the TSA. I did present a bag with liquids in it and it was looked at but again no problems.

It does help being a middle aged white male in these circumstances.

I have picked up a couple of dozen of these in the past few years and handed them out to all the Rellies and friends. The First class one is better still and an all leather bag.

And I bet they think you're a smashing chap!!

Any idea of what's Etihad's is like? Any pics?

Agree the Qantas one is cough, just looked at the one I just got from Sin-Per... lol

I thought that the problem was aerosols without caps?

The current QF J Amenities pack is cough.

I take your QF J Amenity Kit and raise (or should that be lower) you the SQ J Amenity Kit. In my experience its the worst in the industry and esp. insulting coming from what is a great airline.

I find the QF one much better.

Any ideas what is the women's Emirates kit? I should get four of them in July. Aerosols are OK as long as they have a cap. I'm guessing also needs to be less than 100 mls.

Emirates kit for women in J - It's Bulgari with hairbrush/comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, some moisturisers and perfume I think and a scented wet wipe and tissues. And a mirror. I think it is something like that (memory running at a low speed right now!)

Etihad J kit .

The F kit is similar but it comes in a leather box that you can keep as a cufflink box .

The ladies one is more of a pouch style one with Swarovski crystals on it...

I remember one guy moving through business from economy and he saw one of the amenities kits on the floor. He grabbed it and I thought fair enough he's going to keep it. Nope. He handed it to the FA as a lost item. She took it graciously.

This is the ladies Emirates F amenities pack. I flew J with Emirates in November 2012 and I'm fairly sure the kit is the same, maybe except for a different bag and smaller perfume.
