Hi Folks,

I would like to understand my options to kill a few hours in LHR in a decent lounge where I can grab a shower and some food / drink.

I will be travelling in Y from SYD > LHR (as WP) and will then be transferring onto Dublin on Aer Lingus. My understanding is that as I won't be travelling on One World to Dublin, I can't access any of the OW lounges (does this apply to WP also?). How strictly is this enforced?

If there's no way around this, is the No1 Traveller lounge in T3 my best option

If you are happy to avoid flight connections and go through UK immigration would you be able to access the AA arrivals lounge in T3 then make your way Aer Lingus' terminal?

Is the AA lounge available even though I am flying in Y?

The AA LHR T3 Arrivals lounge is not accessible to QF WPs flying in Y.

I think you will have a reasonable chance of being granted access to the BA T5 Arrivals lounge based on your Platinum status and JSA route (assuming you're flying on QF). It's not guaranteed, though.
