Can I use my Amex reward points to get FF seats on Emirates? If not, anyone know how please?

Not directly at any reasonable redemption rate. IIRC you can transfer to Skywards via SPG (Amex->SPG->Skywards) at 0.625 Skywards points per 1 MR point assuming you transfer from SPG->Skywards in 20,000 point blocks.
