Risky flying

I wouldn't fly A380s for the moment and would stay off Air India for ever. Here's explaining:

I have the same sentiment regarding Air India, however I would fly on an A380 every day of the week.

Where's the connection between the two though?

I think the poster was simply giving their opinion on the A380 situation, and offering a new angle on another airline - the two not related but appeared to be when reading

At the risk of sounding stupid, I still can't make out the connections made. I get the issue with Air India ... training and personnel.

With the A380 the issues are mechanical and of a nature that hasn't been deemed an emergency and no grounding has occurred. The airlines and authorities has deemed them fit to fly for the moment, pending inspections on earlier models.

Of course, I stand to be corrected.

Seems interpretation of my post has deflected from the issue of risks to flying...flying A380 with its structural issues, and flying Air India with competency of its flight crew under scrutiny. Oh yes, there's no other connection.

I was trying to see the connection of the A380 issues with the Air India issues seeing as you linked directly and only to an article about Air India. So it's just a general statement about the risks of flying? Plenty of those, as with everything in life But still, I would fly an A380 any day.

My 'humorous' side is saying that there's also the risk of a surly crew, but my sensible side said not to include it ... oops, seems like it snuck in

There's a few airlines in India worse than Air India.


Unfortunately I've had the wonderful experience of flying with them....
