Just came across as a breaking story on Ch7 Afternoon News, a Malaysian Airlines Pilot has been arrested at Sydney Airport, after customs allegedly found 5kg in methamphetamine in his luggage.:shock:

5kg of methamphetamine, I think stomplad's comment was said firmly tongue-in-cheek!

Quite concerning, but hopefully he gets locked up for a long time. A disgrace to the profession.

He should also consider himself fortunate, as you say anat0l​, that he was caught here and not in an Asian country such as Malaysia or Singapore.

I guess it’s also lucky in this case that he was just importing it, not using it, as the consequences had he been using while flying could have been a lot worse.

Amazing the main news outlets (the newspaper websites) haven't picked up the story......no news would be all over it if it was another airline
