Hey Guys
Thanks to a Qantas' Double Status Credit Promo that was offered to me I have been able to rack up 1,480 SC's since my review date of 30 JUN 2011.
WOO HOO! Finally Platinum!
Since I now have 9 months before my next review date does anyone think that it is worth pushing to earn the next 920 SC's to get to the "next" level of benefits at 2,400 SC’s?
I am really the only person in my immediate family that travels to the extent that a Gold Frequent Flyer membership would be useful so the only remaining benefits would be the valet/transfer vouchers or the 50,000 Points.
Or, since Velocity Frequent Flyer matched my current Platinum status, do I invest some money with Virgin Australia to re-qualify for Velocity Platinum for 800 SC’s?
As work for the Australian Government and I’m required to “share the love” by splitting my travel between both carriers so Platinum membership of both programs would come in handy.
Any advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
