Just been random checking just now for F & J Savers, SIN-FRA for next year. Couldn't find any J or F Saver seats on the 747-400 from Feb onwards. Only flights were on the 380's or 300 after January.. Did I miss seeing this change or perhaps a glitch ?

There is now an A380 operating SIN-FRA-JFK eff 15th Jan

The A380 will replace Boeing 747-400 aircraft, which marks the end of SIA 747 long-haul operation to Europe and North America. The capacity will be increased by 25%.
The airline on the evening of 19SEP11 local time has updated the reservation system, and has updated seat map as of 0500GMT 20SEP11, which shows the the A380 with Upper Class Economy Class operating.
Schedule:

SQ026 SIN2355 – 0610+1FRA0820+1 – 1110+1JFK D
SQ025 JFK2010 – 1000+1FRA1150+1 – 0650+2SIN D

I am happy that my April 744 SIN - FRA was swapped from 744 Emergency Exit Rows to A380 Emergency Exit Row. I booked my J saver 6 weeks ago following rumors in forums.
Now for J savers into Europe it is Amsterdam, Rome or Copenhagen. The choices are getting less.

I do recall now reading the rumours re this but I couldn't commit to any dates. Great score for all who did make bookings.
