I'm flying business class to Tokyo next week, via Singapore. A380 to Singapore, then Boeing 777-300ER to Tokyo. Can anyone tell me what the Singapore Airlines amenities pack is like at the moment, and whether I need to pack any sort of adapter to utilize the in-seat power (for Ipod, iPad, Kindle and what ever other gadgets we wind up packing).

Welcome to AFF melodien. :D

Never having flown SQ myself I can't really answer.

However, if you have a look at www.sqtalk.com you may fine answers to your questions there.

No amenity pack really - you will be given socks / booties and eye shades - other requisites are available in WC.

No need for adaptor plug to access seat power in J your standard Aust plugs will fit - whatever you require - just ask the little dollies and they will look after you.

Flew SQ MEL-SIN-MXB / AMS-SIN-MEL July with Cruiserette - advised her to closely watch how the Singapore Girls attended to Cruiser's every want and desire - suggested she should implement similar strategy on the home front - god I love SQ service.

That's my experience too. No packs, but amenities provided in the lavs.

Any luck with that? Persuasive tips for increasing service levels at home are always appreciated. Unfortunately, they do appear to require significant effort to maintain lest they be enhanced away. ;)
