Given the recent changes in the way we are permitted to deal with our DJ SCs, in particular being able to "pool" SCs for family use and upgrade family members to gold or platinum on the back of a FFers SC earnings, how will DJ view and record these changes?

Will the 2000 SC frequent flyer have to "gift" the points to his/her spouse or do they remain with the FFer and the uprade of the spouse is simply a card being issued in a different name?

I'm wondering about this, because I really feel that for DJ to be successful long term in luring QF FFers, they'll also have to, at some point, introduce life time status. That's the only way I can see really high end business flyers being ultimately tied to DJ rather than difting back to QF once platinum is achieved and if so, does these alternate programs detract from a tilt at some future LT programme?
