I'd like to say a huge thank you for sharing this heads-up with the AFF community prior to the official launch.

I've been most impressed with DJ since i've started flying with you guys and a status match to Platinum, will see me ditch QF for you guys for good based on the sneak peak at least!

And most of all, thank you for listening to what us FF'ers want (are you reading this QF?;))

What you need to do now is to sign up Virgin Mobile and then you get 10% credit back to VM everytime you fly Virgin ...... even better Yay!

Yep I'm already with VM, the 10% credit is nice for sure.
 
Virgin is starting to look quite attractive, while Qantas has been getting worse. I may have to reconsider my long-standing Qantas loyalty (currently QC membership, 3 Qantas-earning credit cards, and silver (but hoping to get back up to Gold this year) QFF membership.
 
Oh and now I know why Annette ran off with a sheepish grin when we started asking her about Platinum last night :D

There you go, I am surprised at that, HHonors sounds interesting, meh for PC! I note it includes Eurocar which has A club gold, so its A Club Gold, PC Plat and HHonors ?

I'm going to hit gold with PC in two weeks, but won't make platinum before the end of the year (although I would have if I'd found the PC bonus points thread earlier), so an instant platinum would be very nice.

Isn't it still better than what QF has been offering ..... which is NOTHING?!
 
Wonder if I will be able to use my new Flying Blue Plat for the status match?
