After double status points run should have gone from SB to SG but went to SS first, reason is the status flight points came, but double status points had not been received, they arrived few days later, so silver card and tags arrived today and gold expected next few days, others on this forum had the same. Sorry Q this is a waste of resources sending two lots.

Unfortunately the software does not take into consideration (and rightly so) what SCs have not yet credited to your account so the overnight housekeeping routine would trigger the Silver pack to be sent based on the SCs on your QFF account that day.

Is that right, if so, what info is actually on those bag tags then?.

The gold package arrived yesterday, now the wife wants to go gold too!.

.
Nothing that can be linked back to you. The bag tags hold specific information for that bag tag and is valid for each trip the bag tags take.
