Status Run, 25 status credits needed to retain gold!

I need to work out the most cost effective way to get 25 status credits by the end of August. I have international Qantas travel booked after August to I'm keen to keep Gold for the benefits. The domestic sale ends tomorrow so I'm thinking that I need to get something locked in by then, all suggestions welcome!

MEL to BNE will get you 15 SC each way. Jetstar have some specials on for $57 each way (with carry on only). Add $30 to make it a starter fare with plus so that you earn SC and FF points. So all up $174 for 30 SCs.
