Is this some kind of no news joke? Seriously the top 10 evil tips for taking revenge on selfish passengers?

Disgusting piece of work from no news.

DON'T mess with these passengers.

The stress of flying has made many Australians twisted with revenge, with some travellers revealing they have farted at and deliberately spilt water on other passengers.

The mid-air revelations came after news.com.au revealed how fliers were getting even in the skies.
Our readers reacted and have shared their own disturbing tips on how to deal with the most common flying frustrations.
Hold on to your seat as we take a look at some of the most shocking cases of mile-high revenge.

This is the sort of behavior that makes life hard... I'm happy most of my travel is in J where this tends to happen less.

Hmm. Is that an original article ? Im sure I've seen some of those 'suggestions' before.

Gee those people have no class. My best trick is to cough and say I really should have had the Swine flu injection.Works a treat on Air Asia.

Unsurprisingly the vast majority of the "revenge" is about seats being reclined, and is mostly uninventive. I'm sure the AFF contributers can do better than this.

This has been discussed here a few times in the past and people here had much better methods :!:

Interesting article. I am not saying it is OK to do the things mentioned in the article but sometimes it all gets a little frustrating when you are stuck in a metal tube in the sky with selfish people.

I don't know about much better methods but when I have a boarding pass for 23J and am given a boarding pass for 52A at the gate and get stuck behind 2 kids who think it is OK to recline their seats during taxi then a hard punch in the back of the seat works fine.

They were lucky I quickly moved back to 23JK as soon as the seat belt went off.

Seriously though the best solution would be to have segregated cabins with reclining and non-reclining seats. I do not need to recline (in fact it is extremely uncomfortable) and I would definitely sit down the back knowing that the seat in front could not recline.

I have often been asked to put my seat upright when I havent reclined due to teh seat "slipping" back - pretty embarassing

This is really disapointing from news.com

They really need to start writing practical, useful, constructive stories about the aviation/travel industry.

I wonder if we wrote a letter on behalf of AFF, and had all the users who hate news.com sign it, (Do it digitally somehow?) and send it off to them, maybe the editor? or someone switched on...

Think that'll make a difference? I'm guessing we'll get a story about AFF with some very untrue facts...

Seriously! Need! They don't need to do anything more than sell newspapers.

Not aimed at anyone, but the sooner people grasp this concept the sooner we can avoid these utterly pointless threads about how bad is news Ltd. As long as they need to keep sell papers they will continue to publish all types of ####.

Sadly I agree with Medhead on this one...

Ultimately the news limited shareholders care about one thing and one thing only, how many newspapers news limited sells. It does mean that provided they don't publish something which gets themselves sued (as that reduces the profits, and shareholders don't like that) they are pretty much free to publish what they want regardless of basis in fact.

Infact publishing articles like this are good for news limited for two reasons,

1 it engages their target audience, most people like to read about things which make them angry, thus they will continue buying newspapers.

2 it makes those who are actually in the know complain on forums such as this, providing links back to the original article, which then helps news limiteds search engine rating.

You feel sad about agreeing with me? I'd take that as a major hint, if I was inclined to care. :p

I do believe I have previously mentioned how getting people to read these types of articles helps them sell advertising. Hence these threads are counterproductive in combatting this rubbish from newspaper publishers.
