Hi everyone,

I have just cancelled my Sydney to Paris flight, and the online system indicated that I would receive a voucher. However I have just received an email stating that I would receive a refund on my credit card in 3 days.

I'm not too sure what to expect now. My fare did not allow for refund.

As anyone here had the same experience before?

Sounds like you should keep quiet for now and see what happens, incase it is an error, and assuming you’d prefer a full refund instead of a voucher ;)

Or even better, a mistake whereby you get a refund AND a voucher! ;)

Same thing happened to me last week -- I rang QF customer service to ask why I didn't have a voucher on my profile, the nice lady said I'd had it refunded onto my credit card. I hadn't even thought to check online, but lo and behold, there was my money.

Just a cheap Red e-Deal MEL-SYD-MEL, too, which is good.

QF customer service had no idea how/why it happened... thinks it's a bug. We just have to consider ourselves lucky, I guess!

Well that all sounds great to me!

A refund and a voucher.... I would certainly not call them to complain!!!
