$79 deal Gold Coast flight sim

I did this last year for my birthday and well worth it for the experience.

This year my brother and I each scored 2 hours for $75!!!

Looks the same as Flight Experience's SIM (ie, static, not moving).

I did a 90 minute session in the Flight Experience one in MEL a while back. It was good, but seemed a little lacking. The Audio wasn't working so we couldn't "call for pushback" and just lined up at the end of the runway. Did a LAX-LAS flight then landings at the old HKG airport.

There's a lot lost in the lack-of-motion aspect. And for the money, it's a bit of an expense.

At $75 though, i'd happily do it again. I'm still tempted to book some time in a real sim though, as expensive as it is :)

Great deal, I had a go at the Perth one on the weekend and really enjoyed it. I had the 60 minute package and did some circuits around SYD and ZQN, and finished with a flight from HKG to Kai Tak.

I had the opportunity many moons ago to get 30 mins in Ansett full motion B767 sim at Tulla. Fantastic, as you could feel the acceleration and runway strips etc - fooled me in 15 seconds.
Price? - undisclosed for Ansett VIP clients :D:D:D

Disclosed for non-VIP's: Ansett Aviation Training

Not cheap, but want to do it:) (The Hilton Package, which of course, won't exist much longer).

My wife bought me a voucher to this place for Christmas ... just need to find the time to do it

For $79, it's definitely worth a look.
For $239, you can go to a flight school and get into a Cessna 172 (or equiv.) for a 60min intro flight, with some cash to spare. OK.. it's not a jet plane, but you are really flying.

Personally I would opt for the Jet simulator over the C172.

Did this last month. Not a full flight sim, but nearly all of the way there. Real enough to make me feel stupid! Definitely recommend it.

I used my $79 scoopon today in the 738 sim on the Breakfast Creek Wharf. I really enjoyed it, thought it was good value for money.
Landed OK in BNE but ran off the runway at MCY.
A lot of fun.
