OpenRice is brilliant for finding small places or the best example of a particular dish, but generally the reviews are to be taken with a pinch of salt. I love the posts where someone rates a really good place one star out of five because the waiter didn't bring tea in the first thirty seconds, or how you can get one more prawn somewhere else and so it is the biggest ripoff on the face of the planet. The scoring criteria are not generally aligned with western preferences....
