I've noticed that recently Qantas' 767's have been replacing the A330-300's on the Sydney - Jakarta and Sydney - Manilla routes.

Does anyone know why this is occurring?

The small incident over indonesia on QF 32 has caused 744s to sub for 380s, 330s to sub for 744s and 767s to sub for 330s around the QF network.

it should return to A330s once the 380s are back up and flying properly.

QF took delivery of another A380 on the weekend, so it won't be long before the shortage is cleared.

Add to that the maintenance and/or refit of some of the 747's, it is all bit of a jigsaw puzzle isn't it!
