Free Airport Train Brisbane until 21st of Jan

Due to flooding all public transport is free including the Airtrain

Clem7 and others are toll free until midnight 17th.. Handy as I find the Clem7 a super quick short cut to breakie creek-airport ... although I'm not sure if thats open again.

I’ve done it before for afternoon tea, but when it’s free transport and free beers, 3 hours roundtrip on a train doesn’t worry me

I have an early morning flight; you can get an OMG Airtrain and spend all day in the Dom J Lounge! Just imagine, breakfast, lunch and dinner all NP "inspired"!!

It's a pity the J lounge doesn't offer "Passouts" (ie the wristband type - not the "fall asleep in the toilet" type)

Thanks for the offer, though I have a feeling the services that are running are slightly limited, and I think I’d probably sleep through my alarm tomorrow morning. Plus I hear the lounge foods haven’t been there due to roads being cut, so I’m not sure there would be breakfast, lunch and dinner by NP tomorrow

I’ll hopefully make an appearance later in the week when there’s food and alcohol to raid again, and hopefully meet some new and old faces if possible.

The ICB was shut near breaky creek this morning. Had to use abbottsford rd.

Well this works nicely for me tomorrow.

I can drive to Eagle Junction station then use the train to get to the airport. Saves me either paying for parking for a day at the airport, or extortionate taxi fares.

Ditto, leaving the car at home for this weeks trip, just allowing a few hours to get to the airport, if I arrive early I am sure I can handle he wait.

I'm only a lowly SG, so you'll have to come and sit in the QP, but would be good to meet you.

If I wasnt making numerous stops on the way, i'd offer to drive you there as well.
