We are thinking about flying in Premium Laurel with Eva Air from Brisbane to Paris via Taipei and are wondering if anyone has experience with this Airline, especially regarding the seat comfort in this class :?: Any comments would be appreciated.
Cheers
Doris

The seats appear to be similar to Qantas Skybed mk 1’s, in that they are flat but not horizontal to the floor. They also appear not to be very long for tall people. Here are a few links with photos, and a video that should answer all your questions on the seat.

One review likened the seat to leaning down as oppose to lying down ;)

Last month I flew EVA from LAX to TPE in business class (due to last minute itinerary changes).
I usually fly economy (due to company policy) and this flight was #99 out of the 100 flights I had in 2010 with 36 different airlines.

The seat must have been comfortable because I slept from take-off (midnight PST) until breakfast was served an hour or so prior to landing in TPE. I'm 183cm (6'1"), 95kg and was comfortable.

I was impressed with the service, food and aircraft condition (i.e. spotless toilets). I would be happy to fly with them again.

Thanks for your comments, we decided to risk a booking as the price was too tempting ($4399 from BNE to Paris in Premium Laurel) and a lot of comments on the www were pretty good, it's got to be better than whY. We'll see...

Not hard to be better than Y, but if that’s your basis for comparison, it should be a very nice experience :)
