Have been to Switzerland a few times and their power plugs are unique. There's the problem.

I'm shortly to return for at least a week. Need my macbook and phone. I've looked around but can't find a retailer in Oz either online or shopfront who can supply an adaptor for Australian appliances to plug into Swiss power points.

Any info much appreciated.

Googling shows me what they look like... strange. I'd suggest getting a UK adaptor and a european adaptor, then finding a second adaptor while over there.

i.e. the odds of finding something for EU or UK is much higher.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was thinking the same thing but don't know if piggybacking adaptors is safe.

I'm very sure a standard Euro plug fits into the Swiss socket.

While it is grounded and a slightly different shape, my recollection is that Euro plugs still fit.

But not 100% sure.
