Hi All,

I have found the advice on this forum most handy over the past year or so as I went from zero to QFF Platinum on the back of many works trips (SYD-MEL, SYD-ADL, SYD-DRW, SYD-PER, SYD-ARM), and a couple of O/S breaks in between (including one ridiculous SYD-LAX-JFK..BOS-CDG-FCO-ATH-RHO..and back again)

As many of you have also, there are those burning questions that remain unanswered, so I thought I would "member-up" in order to join the discussion, with a hope to seeing the light at the end of the runway. Top of my list would be the inability to book rows 4 or 5 on many a 737 flight SYD-DRW. I'm currently in the "must be left for Chairman's Lounge" camp, but wish there was a better solution from QANTAS.

Looking forward to many a discussion.

Cheers, Rod

Welcome to the world of points junkies.I cant believe what i now do because of the advice I have received over the past few years.Seems you have already learnt some pretty good lessons.
I cant comment personally on QFF elite status but we have just completed our first OS trip with mrsdrron as WP.She got more recognition on KA and CX than on QF-in fact on our first leg QF assumed it was me with the status-didn't go down well.

Welcome to AFF Rod:D

Hi Rod, welcome to AFF!

You can book the above rows you speak about, just that you can't pre select them till T-80 hours.
