Hi all, just wanted to post a quick trip report.

Last night's flight (ZQN-SYD) on Pacific Blue was just excellent. Fantastic crew and a flight that landed 45 minutes early :!::!::!: This on a total anticipated flight time of a little over 3 hours!

So... kudos where kudos is due - well done DJ!

Thanks for the report - I've often wondered what the pacific blue service was like between SYD-ZQN. What was the inflight service like i.e. food options. Did they hand out digi players?

Hi haydensydney, the inflight service is probably best described as friendly and professional. Food options were limited (from memory, hot dishes were Lamb shanks and Vege lasagne), however I'd been gorging on brilliant food the whole time I was in Queenstown, so I didn't choose to snack on anything during the (short) flight. I did buy some drinks though, priced accordingly (read: exorbidant)

Digi players were spoken about, but again I had more than enough reading materials to entertain me. I think the cost of the player is $20 (NZD) but apparently the player accepts two headphone jacks, so you and your travelling companion can share the cost between you. OR... you can just bring a small laptop / ipad / other media device and save the cost entirely :D
