On June 1 this year Royal Jordanian will resume its operations between Amman and the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, after five years during which flights were suspended for commercial reasons.

The really good news IMHO is those flights will be via BKK.

The bad news is it has not been loaded into the on-line booking engine yet!

I can get a price AMM-KUL but not BKK-KUL on the online engine.$1114 for J one way.

Wonder if they have rights to sell BKK-KUL and v.v? Is a concern that OBE only offers AMM as a destination ex-KUL, I assume they would be able to sell beyond AMM destinations, so maybe the fares etc have been loaded in yet for destinations other than AMM.

OK I have now answered my own question, asiatravel has fares KUL-BKK return in J for 1127MYR, or about $385AUD. 120 status credits @$3.21/SC. $100 more ex-BKK though.

Excellent news! - KL is great Hub to the rest of SE Asia, plus a chance to experience RJ.

Wish JQ would resume flights to KL. A cheap flight to KL, or even better sale star class fare, then fly direct to BKK with OW (with lounge access) .

What are the chances JQ would ? I really miss those flights in *Class...It was a nice flight in to KL...But the loads each time were rather low...*Class were usually only a third full....
