it's been a while since i've posted here, i like the new format.

i am 130 status credits short of lifetime gold. I am flying bne-per-bne on a red-e deal fare bne-per and then a super saver per-bne (all economy)

what will i get in terms of status credits for this trip?

I am wondering how long until i knock off the remaining 130. will have quite a few more trips to perth and port headland from brisbane coming up as well.

thanks in advance

BNE-PER is 2249 miles, so in discount economy that is 20 status credits each way. Red-e-Deal (E, N and O) and Super Saver (L, M, S, and V) are all discount economy fares for the purpose of Status Credit earning.

So BNE-PER-BNE will earn you 40 SC.

righto thanks. i need to get someone else to pay for a more flexible fare in the future then

What FF level are you currently?

This is a good question, if bigjobs is gold or platinum (which is a distinct possibility) and will be for some time, then getting to LTG any quicker is of really not a lot of benefit.

If bigjobs is not gold or platinum currently, then there is obviously a good reason to get back there soon.
