Wouldn't be surprised if 14 out of 15 are fake to divert attention, but hopefully of course all are.

Very poor show from whomever did this.

Your flight in Europe may be disrupted due to serial bomb threats for various domestic European flights:

I hope Police can find out those who made these melicious calls and make arrests soon.

Going to be difficult if they are overseas….

Looks like a winter of fun for European airlines

Honestly, I find these sort of attacks were extremely irresponsible.
Like hiking the temperature of blood bank could cost lives.

Indeed but these arnt some kids down the street phoning the cops.

For aviation threats to be taken this seriously, would need to be done by people with some experience/ financial & technical backing…

EI captain is being questioned by police in France for refusing to land at military airbase which then got intercepted by fighter jets 😮

Unsupported suspicion by me but, Russia! “Wayward” drone incursions, fridges shut down, kidnaps, 10x 000s bots creating division and misinformation. All about trying to create disruption and chaos.

I read somewhere the number of posts made to all the most popular western social media sites dropped by circa 50% the day after Ukraine bombed a data centre in Russia. Coincidence much!

There may have been one threat on an ANA flight from Japan to Sydney.

What I cannot understand is why the AFP kept passengers onboard for 90 minutes.
The standard protocol is to park the aircraft remotely and evacuate passengers immediately.
Keeping them on the aircraft put them at further risk.

The action the AFP took seems more consistent with a tip-off relating to smuggling, perhaps drug importation, rather than a bomb threat.

Someone might have had some mud on their hiking boots…

In all seriousness Im surprised they let them land at SYD, in Europe aircraft are diverted to big open airports or even Air Force fields, seems very strange ……WSI would have been perfect

As far as I can see few of the affected flights yesterday were diverted.
The Aer Lingus flight to Rome was diverted to the French Armée de l'Air base d’Evreux-Fauville about 85 km ENE of Paris.
Most aircraft proceeded to their destinations because the threats were judged to be of low credibility.
