Double points or status credits to Paris

Does anyone have a guesstimate about the next Qantas DSC. I'm travelling to LHR in February.

You might wish to travel to Paris instead
Also avoids the higher cost PAX tax out of London

Bookings must be weak. I was able to snag Perth - Paris return in PE for just under 4k flat last month in January / February. I actually thought I’d gotten lucky with a pricing error. Same dates / flights those prices are now at 6500 return - the QF dsc classic

Very interestingly: “Flight credits issued on or after 3 November 2026 will not be eligible for this offer.”

I see you can fly back direct from LHR under today's DSC offer. You just need to do the outbound on one of the specified flights and fly via CDG.
An Eligible Flight for the purpose of this offer means an outbound flight marketed and operated by Qantas on QF33 or QF255 from Australia to Paris (CDG). Return flights on QF34 or QF256 from Paris (CDG), or QF2 or QF10 from London (LHR) to Australia are also eligible for this offer, provided they are in the same booking as the eligible outbound flight.
I'm finding Sale seats galore in Y+ and J cabins. $4500 odd for 560 SCs in Y+ is tempting. However I'll pass as I already have requalified half way through my member year, and I don't have more than enough spare cash right now.

I did the CDG-PER flight once because it was about half the price of LHR-PER

I remember chatting to one of the crew who said bookings were light outside of EU summer time, and he wondered if it would be cut back to seasonal like FCO.

I feel like CDG always gets a special offer. In the past 18 months I recall a number of different ones including a promo code, double status/points, etc. Certainly, it is a strong winter destination, but I suspect outside of the peak European holiday season it varies a bit.
