Qantas Points Club Discussion

Well somehow since 01 June I am at ~320000.

I have exhausted every idea I think that I have read on here. I even bought two cases of wine which netted around 30000. Best case I think I will still be around 20000 short by Dec 8.
I refuse to pay more than say $25 per bottle. 😅

I do however have a sign up bonus from Bankwest due. So I just messaged them and asked about the bonus points.
I now have in writing that I have met the spend and points will Come on fifth of next month.

I only opened the card in August so I do not hold out much hope based on other reports here.

The game continues ….
I also did the mistake of planing my last PC+ on bankwest. Account open early September. Ill do like you did and contact them. Who knows!

These things are always worth a try I think. Costs nothing to ask is how I look at it.

I some how doubt they will come next month but hopefully we will get a surprise.

My bankwest bonus points came in exactly on the 5th back in August fwiw. And any spend/statement points generally hits between 5th to 7th of the month so fingers crossed it comes through for you.

What does the team think?

I'm currently PC+ till 31/08/2027. I'll also have achieved PC again by 08/12/2026.

So, will I have PC until 31/08/2028?

I would hope so. That is my understanding and I am in a similar situation at this time, just with the end date being May.

Was that the month after you met the minimum spend fishbowl?
There are reports on the Bankwest thread that it takes up to 5 months even if the minimum spend is met within the first statement period.

Yes it was automatic as part of the statement right after I reached the min spend, I know the T&C says up to 5 months but it was pretty much immediate in the same statement for me.

As a Points Club Plus member, I can roll over up to 100 of my Status Credits into my next Membership Year noting that Points Club Plus members’ Status Credits that are rolled over from one Membership Year to the next will not contribute to Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus or Lifetime tiers, and for Platinum One members, will not contribute towards attaining or retaining status.

Does this happen automatically or do I need to do something manually for it to happen?

It’s automatic

Yeah I enquired with them about this, the sweep happens on the 5th.

Thanks. It just happened when I refreshed my screen! :)
It's automatic but clunky (in the best traditions of Qantas IT). I had my SCs from last year expire at ~8AM this morning and the count drop to zero. I got an entry at about 2PM indicating rollover occurred, but my SC count is still zero (and I expect it will remain so until at least tomorrow).

I should be able to qualify quite quickly once the cards arrive (need to switch some card direct debits temporarily from AmEx). I wasn't originally going for PC+, and have already hit PC, about month into the new member year. Handy if I can hit it for the 100SC rollover in Sep 2027, but otherwise not fussed.

correction, I did get the 90000 points credited 2 days after the end of 1st statement period.
Just got my 90K year 1 SUB from the StG Amplify Visa, on the day of the statement generating, plus the points from spend of about 9K (overshot the 6K target - oops!). Now have 46K QFF points to earn in 35 days to hit PC+ in what will be a personal record of 3 months & 8 days. Should get there though, I reckon! 🤞🤓
