Really enjoyed S2 of The Jury on SBS On Demand.

[Major]

Watched the last episode (S6 E6) of Slow Horses last night.

All of the series have been great viewing.

Now have to wait for the new series next year

Finished S4 'The Diplomat' Netflix the other night. As someone mentioned an interesting twist in the final scene.
After a few false starts now watching The Big Fake (Netflix). In Italian, 70's era. Interesting plot but everything happens too easily for the main character imo.
Reviews of Unabomber generally panning it so will avoid it as I will the latest from Tom Cruise.

The next Lupin (Netflix) is out soon.

Just finished watching S1 and S2 of the UK version of The Jury on SBS On Demand. Both interesting, but S2 is definitely better. Definitely an interesting social experiment and really makes me wonder about the efficacy of jury trials.

Finished "Slow Horses" and couldn't find a series to interest both of us before our subscription lapses at the end of the month, so settled in to watch a movie last night.
"Raymond and Ray" with Ethan Hawke and Ewan McGregor, a dark comedy.
Found it quite an enjoyable watch.

Edit to reflect on Apple TV

Watching The Great Dictator. Wonderful satirical movie released in 1940. Currently running on SBS World Movies

Reacher Season 4 on Prime was a good watch. Predictable, but entertaining. Moving onto Neagley now.

I thought the Australian Jury season 1 was much better than the second. Preferred the Australian one to season 1 UK but will check out its season 2.

Agree re: the Australian Jury, although I think the case itself was a very interesting one. Season 1 of the UK edition was interesting, but I much preferred the Aussie version's format. Season 2 of the UK Jury is a better watch and moves more towards the Australian format. Certainly an interesting case, but IMHO, too similar to Season 1. Regardless, an interesting watch that once again highlights the inherent challenges faced by juries in our respective legal systems.

For those who need an escape I enjoyed watching ‘Taste of Murder’ on 7+. Set on Capri (filmed in parts of Croatia/Amalfi Coast and Naples) its story of English father (a cop in the Met) and teenage daughter whose wife/mother (Sophia) died in a hit and run. Sophia’s parents run a restaurant overlooking the sea on Capri and they go there to heal. Of course low level crime ensues and he gets drawn in as a consultant by local police. Gorgeous to watch, bright and light and visually sumptous. Think opposite of Scandi Noir.

Well, I am very, very late to the party with "Ted Lasso" on Apple TV.
After watching Hannah Waddingham on Graham Norton recently, we gave it another go - up to Season 2 now.

This might be one for December if you haven't seen it, filmed at London Coliseum 2023.

If it makes you feel any better, I still haven't watched a single episode of it.

Finished Neagley on Prime and enjoyed it. If you enjoyed Reacher, then there's no reason not to enjoy Neagley - it's a tried and true formula.

If it makes you feel any better, I still haven't watched a single episode of it.

I only found "Ted Lasso" while on a Qantas SYD - BNE flight (on my way to the Longreach weekend.

I managed to catch the first few episodes and am looking forward to my Monday flight to watch the rest !
