Ah the youngsters In my day we had a large wall map of the world and thumb pins!

I should take a photo of that exact thing in my dusty old external garage!
I've stayed in AirBnBs with those scratch-off maps for visitors to mark their home countries - that's the next level.

And I have exactly that on the wall of my office at work! The map is a Michelin map of the world and a pin goes in each capital city after visiting that country.

(don’t ask about all the little holes in the gyprock when I eventually have to pull it down in December )
