Hello brains trust, Has anyone tried again the 3 pickups for the next membership year? Mine has not reset in the app and still showing previous. Is there a process to reset that? I’ve already emailed ReSmart and not sure if the will respond. The backup is the green hotel at Ovolo and it seems the only one left is South Yarra. The CBD one has disappeared. Is that right?

Booked Ovolo Melbourne South Yarra with my PC $50 hotel voucher for 1 night in early October.

Sitting in bed right now at Ovolo Melbourne South Yarra with a glass of shiraz and the laptop.



Booked Snug room for $139.05 after PC $50 hotel voucher. Hotel is a short 5 minute walk from South Yarra train station.

Room is compact at 14m2 with a Queen bed, 40 inch Samsung TV, filtered water tap and bar fridge. Sink is separate from the toilet and shower, which is a bit odd but practical given the size of the room. Samsung TV has no accessible HDMI ports so no plugging in...

Rooms are small, used $50 PC voucher - leaf appeared within days.

Yes, the response from ReSmart does not seem right. Anyway the last time, had to serve the waiting time then chase. QFF. Not risking it.

So, Ovolo booked and used the pc voucher. All up only $149.
Wine ordered and used the $50 wine voucher so ended up paying $85 for a Penfolds for Olive Tree steak night.
This secures the last 2 leafs.

Mission accomplished.

Ability to add a cash-paid offset seems to be missing from checkout for me for both J and U class fare either SYD>MEL or ADL-MEL, QF mainline, no business details input. Am I missing something?

I don’t think it’s ever been a cash payment options from my memory. Have always only had points payment only.

Always a cash or points option at time of booking at QANTAS.com. Doing it after booking is only points.

Exception is booking via the QBR Portal that doesn’t give the option to buy an offset at all IME.

Flexibly booked a very short flight, did the offset against that booking for a few hundred QF points, then later cancelled the flight. I have my 5th and final green leaf, but for the first time, I didn't automatically get the option to select my award. Any recent advice on that being activated?

Other shifty happenings occurred with this one, unrelated to DSC, but involving my QF Ultimate AmEx

As an aside, I used points to purchase an offset on a short flight also, but weirdly received bonus points in my QBR account!

That's odd - I dared not use our ABN as I'd read these didn't allow offsets to be done?

Booking via the QBR portal doesn’t give you the option to buy the offset with cash at the time of booking IME.

But you can add a points offset via MMB later.

That was a MEL-SYD flight booked thru the main QF website and “Travelling for Business” (so ABN linked). The SYD-MEL flight didn’t go thru. Just sat there as “Requested” and I assume that was because it was booked using a movie voucher (with DSCs). Had I tried to do the offset on the original booking (a very short flight), it would have only been 180 pts…

Anyway, I’m passing on GT. With the Tassie Holiday home offset gone, it all became too hard and I don’t need the 50 SCs this year and I wouldn’t be able to take them all my following year. Although, it looks like I could roll over half (I’m on track to exceed 1400 SC by end of July 2027).

I can add a second data point to confirm that assumption. Exactly the same experience with exactly the same scenario - successful add to other bookings not in that state, but the hanging requested state for that exact scenario.
