DPS-SYD-MEL vs DPS-MEL is double the travel time is my point, with barely any time to sleep anyway it's not worth the detour for the A330 imo

Virgin's application is up.

They've requested 5086 seats to be used for:

MEL-DPS extra 4 weekly from December 2026
SYD-DPS extra 4 weekly from March 2027
PER-DPS 17 weekly from June 2027
BNE-DPS extra 3 weekly from September 2027

Pretty much as expected, i wouldn’t be surprised if the allocation gets split down the middle.

For the proposed schedules where they're both using the 1234567 notation to indicate the proposed days of operations, that's Monday as 1 and Sunday as 7 isn't it?
I'm pretty sure that's how the IATA system works. So where it's indicated as .23..67 that would be services on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
