It will be interesting to see if the $10 GC credit for spending $1,000 or more each month remains. At the bare minimum = 1% cash back (or near enough if you'd get a discount buying the GCs some other way).

The way other cards have been changed (so far) begins to make the 1% value quite attractive if the card also gets used for foreign currency purchases.

With the $8 fee, if unlucky enough, then the value does decrease if you don't use the other add ons like the lounge passes if flight delayed > 2hours etc.

That was to offset the fee (in its various forms). So will probably hang around for while.

That’s all I use 28° for. Whilst I don’t necessarily spend $1k pm, I easily crack $12k pa, so that’s circa $360 savings.
