What Rewards fee is being charged?

I just received an email saying the AMEX rewards fee on my QF Gold CC (which is basically a Discovery Card) is going up from $49 to $99…No word yet if they’re reducing the earn rate…..

There is no annual fee. To be certain I just asked an Amex agent who confirmed. When you use the card you accumulate Qantas points which automatically sweep to your Qantas account each month and this is what happens with my account. There is no rewards fee for this. This card is completely fee free.
