Reseachers design a Device to take over a plane's electronics

Computer researchers in San Diego have produced a device which enables it to take over a planes auto pilot.
Sounds like a disaster but the device has to be physically attached to the plane. May lead to extra costs to protect against this happening.
But I am sure some bad guys are looking into it.

Which was similar to the one which allowed remote taking-over of Stellantis products (eg. Fiat, Jeep & Chrysler) except nobody who owns one of those really wants to keep it so nobody was super worried about them being taken away remotely ... :)
