I wonder what the odds on that are! I used to play for a club side in North London which had 2 successive ties against a local rival. In the next match speculation was rife about a third successive tie but the match ended with our opponents winning by 9 wickets.

I've got tickets to Perth and Sydney this summer. NZ should be a really tough opponent. I've also got tickets for the 150th Anniversary Test at the MCG. I can't make the Ashes but would be tempted to again go the Test Championship Final in London. I went last year and had a great time in the Hospitality Suite at Lords.

Seems like a different pitch. I wonder if the CA's XI beating Bangladesh very easily earlier in the week, including bowling them out for 54 in the second innings, made the Australians a bit too complacent?
