The airline is set to cancel around 1100 flights over fuel supply concerns, affecting the travel plans of thousands.

Due to high jet fuel price and it appears Air NZ cannot afford them, your flight may be retimed or cancelled.

So it seems the losses at Air NZ is going to be much more severe than expected. A 100% increase of jet fuel price to US$160 is crippling airlines operations.
