No towels in the SYD dom J lounge

Yep, it's pretty inconvenient. Flew in on QF26 yesterday and had a 3hr layover before getting my final leg home. Would've loved a shower to freshen up in the meantime but alas.
 
Thats an interesting one. Wonder if they had a problem with the cleaning supplier.

I used it a couple of weeks ago after a particularly muggy day in Sydney.

And this is part of my reasoning why I’m steering my business away from Qantas. My platinum status is worth not a lot. Stories like this are legion post the previous CEO.

The Asian airlines, The middle eastern players. I haven’t flown virgin like forever but I live in Canberra and the big V starts direct flights to Bali in June. No more Sydney hub. Qatar are going to get some of my pelf too. I’m ten weeks abroad in a year as a private traveller and I flew a couple of legs Jakarta to KL return in business and it was a blast. . The golden lion lounge was super cool, being ferried around between the terminals at KLIA in their chauffeur Benz was a fine touch of luxe. Qantas let me find one of their scrappy mags with chewed gum in it. Indifferent service, dirty planes. Enough
