Hello everyone,
Happy New Year! I wonder for a one stop flight, for example CX451 NRT-TPE-HKG, do you get status credits as of a direct NRT-HKG sector, or two sectors NRT-TPE and TPE-HKG?
Further, may I ask if status credits can be increased if NRT-TPE and TPE-HKG are on multiple PNRs?
Thank you.

It goes by what’s on your ticket. The coupon is simply NRT-HKG? Then you get a single set of status credits, based on NRT-HKG only.

If you had two coupons, for example a stopover, or a change of flight number for the second sector, then you’d get status credits for each sector.

You don’t need multiple PNRs to achieve the above, just a single ticket with either a stop, or a transit where you change flight numbers (ie you disembark in TPE, wait for an extra hour or two, and catch the next CX flight to HKG).

Although doing the above may increase the ticket price. You’d need to play around and see if the price was worth it.
