Article: The Best Oneworld Airport Lounges in Singapore

Plus it has a manned bar (with coughtails) and proper coffee.
I think you'll find most of us here rank it as one of the better J/OW Sapphire lounges around the world and arguably the best QF J lounge. I certainly rate it higher than the BA lounge next door.
Well, I have disagree with you. I find the QF J lounge at Singapore to be a completely soulless barn of a place, and tended bars do nothing for me. I'm not a coughtail drinker.

As for it being better than the BA lounge next door (I'm also BA Silver), you have to be joking. How is a huge beer hall of a place be better than a nice quiet comfortable lounge with decent food and drink. I'd rather self pour myself a Laphroaig than stand in a line at the bar and then request some poor quality "scotch".

I reckon the BA lounge is a gem. It’s often the quietest Lounge and while not a “first” lounge, I find the Qantas first is crowded and there are lots of reports of people being denied entry..

Food is big for me and while QF first and Qatar are fancy and more restaurant like the BA food is great, and self service is sometimes better. I like this review British Airways Lounge Singapore Food and Nutrition Review

Thanks for this info. Flew early this week London to Sydney on BA 15. Based on this column we headed for the Qantas lounge. Have to say the dining room quite possibly the fastest I have ever been in. We had Barramundi, pork noodles and prawns produced within 5 minutes. Staff super attentive. Highly recommended even when slightly stressed with tight layover.

Howdy all, I'll in flying in F and having a 6-7 hour stopover....which lounges would be recommended a long linger? I'll be doing a lounge crawl, just seeing which one would be better for both drinks and meals.
I've had the laska at the Qantas business lounge....definitely did not rate it....

Qantas F lounge is meant to be good. First port of call I’d suggest. Not tried it so can’t comment if it’s actually good but I would hope so seeing how it’s the F lounge. But depends on who you’re flying I guess. Emirates or Qatar are superior to QF and BA J lounges. I don’t know about any other ones.

I honestly think the QR lounge is on par with the QF F lounge and definitely wouldn’t even waste my time going to the QF J lounge.

Are you flying soon? Is anyone in your flying party a Disney fan? Changi Terminal and Jewel is on full Disney (cruise) attraction right now.

If not and you don't want to head out, then take your pick between QF F and QR Lounge. My only reason to goto QF J is if you pick the right time, it's the best chance for a shower without waiting as it has the most shower stalls. That being said, if you find QR lounge when it's empty you can get a shower too.

QF lounge food and QR lounge food are different but can be roughly comparable tier wise depending on the given menu and what times you visit. There is an overlap time where QF F is winding down and QR J doesn't go into full gear - it's usually around 11pm - where QF1 has left but QR passengers aren't checking in yet.
