First thing for me is sound. Airplans are loud (also thinking of toddlers ears), and a quieter airplan is more desirable. Airbus seems to manage better this aspect. A was also very impresses the few times I was on the Bombardier/Airbus A-220, specially when taking off full throttle. So quiet.
The chances are that it was nowhere near full throttle. In the 380 we could go as low as 60%. Full charge was relatively rare.

That's a pretty much unfixable issue with the 737. It doesn't use containerised luggage. Boeing would have been so much better off if they'd killed off the 737 and used the 757....but Southwest.
