Is it true you can’t buy gift cards on Qantas marketplace using Qantas Pay?

I used Apple Pay to load money into my Qantas Pay card from my debit card and funds are still showing pending and it has been 24 hours. I thought Apple Pay is instant?

I used regular debit card and it shows pending, but the money can be spent from Q Pay

Ah, so the pin can be chosen.
My new card hasnt arrived yet.
I so loved my old card # tho, easy to remember, now have to remember the new card #.
The previous card had 5/6 years expiry, and that card was starting to show its age, ...
Maybe not having osko is a downside, but then being able to do immediate funds "*uck" from a debit account, could still be ok, seeing that there are "some" improvements.
One thing that gets my goat so to speak tho, is having to do a full log in even with the QPay app, ie, having the 6 digit code sent to mobile phone, must cost them a few cents per ping.

O, thought the old app was being gotten rid off, ie, going off line and have/had to download the new app, which is a step down, and ergo, the old card details being cancelled, and new card # issued.

So, the new QPay card has arrived.
Cripes, its so hard to tear off the backing paper that the card is stuck to.
Previously, it was that round plasticine sort, now its real glue.
Not a happy pooch.
Will take a long time to peel off the rest of the paper.

And when they said that they are separating the QFF members card from the QP, they do really/really do mean it.
No QFF # on the new card at all.

I got the new card back in May (and I remember the glue, now that you mention it).

You had to use the new app to request the new card, but once you got the new card you could use the old app for everything. They said the old app was going offline last week but it is still working for me.

(Unlike the medicare app which stopped working on 1st Nov like they said it would.)

Re: the glue, the trick, I found, after I practically tore it off the paper, only to find, stuck to the card, is that oblong sticky cellotape like bit, and we are supposed to tear that bit off, not tear the card off the paper.
The "activate this before use red peel off" is also very hard to peel off.

OffT (((There is a new VM (Virgin Money, its like the former VGW) card, also a debit, 8 VM points per transaction, transferrable to 4 points in VFF, it has immediate bank transfer via osko, lets you know when certain transactions occur, much much better than QP.)))OnT.
