Qantas boosts international capacity, wet lease Finnair aircraft

According to planerspotters.net this will become VH-QPL so I assume that's a sticker over the top or it'll get a new VH one.
Internally, I assume the AY excellent biz seats remain....and colour scheme inside remains as AY?

Correct, nothing else of the aircraft will change so AY interior. Unlike the current AY flights it will have a QF crew (both flight deck and cabin) but as per the existing AY wet leases it will be a QF soft product onboard (meals, amenity kit, blankets etc).

Posts elsewhere suggest OH-LTR will also be repainted to QF colours (it's just flown to the French paint shop in CHR that OH-LTU returned from), and QF will use two wet and two dry over the Dec/ Jan period, before dropping back to two dry only.

Are the rumours about QF leasing (in some form) the entire AY A330 fleet still going around?
That would be around 4 aircraft left at Finnair.

Certianly seems like a good opportunity for AY to move on from the A330 fleet. I’d imagine QF will continue to dry lease these for as long as they can. They are good mid life aircraft.

Haven't heard those.
AY operates the remaining fleet successfully on HEL to places like DOH, DEL and JFK.

It's just that with the Russia - Ukraine conflict they can't operate other routes they used to to more East Asian destinations.

The rumours were around that QF wanted all of AYs 330s earlier this year but not unexpected that AY aren't going to give them all up to QF.
