Back in the saddle: One week in Japan

And so this trip report comes to an end. We covered a lot of miles but I wouldn't really change anything. Having not travelled for five years and with a very busy home life, I didn't really have much capacity to plan a huge amount in advance. Doing things on the fly was a welcome change for me and forced me out of my comfort zone.

I have left with a reinvigorated sense of excitement for international travel and can't wait to plan out my return to Japan in May next year. With eight days on the ground and only a trip to Fuji-Q for Thomas Land a definite stop I am very open to ideas from my fellow AFFers. Particularly those who have taken a pre-schooler to Japan.

I hope this has been a fun story to follow along. If you have any questions or would like me to provide any further details about anything please don't hesitate to reply to this thread. I will do my best to help where I can

Last year, I took my little one to Tokyo. The Ueno Zoo was a great spot, especially the kids' area with the pandas. KidZania in Toyosu was also a big hit with us.

Thank you @BriarFlyer, he loved them and has been very earnestly telling me that he wants to go with me on future trips overseas.

Fuji-Q blew my socks off for rollercoasters. Probably not what you want to hear taking a pre-schooler but if you get a chance to ride the big 3 there take it!
