Four hotels within the Elanor Hotel Accommodation Fund will transition to Accor brands under a deal with Elanor Investors Group and long-standing operating partner 1834 Hotels.

Under the agreement, Byron Bay Hotel and Apartments will rebrand to The Sebel Byron Bay – marking Accor’s return to Byron Bay – Barossa Weintal will rebrand to Mercure Barossa Valley; Clare Country Club will rebrand to Peppers Clare Valley; and Adabco Boutique Hotel Adelaide will rebrand to Mantra Wakefield Adelaide.

Mantra and Peppers earn at a lower rate usually, but they're in the midscale and premium categories alongside Mercure and Sebel, which is confusing. So just checking that The Sebel Byron Bay and Mercure Barossa Valley will earn the full amount of points/status points, but the Peppers Clare Valley and Mantra Wakefield Adelaide are less attractive from an earning POV?

Those nicer hotels but coughpy earners are good opportunities to use points. You’re not missing out on spend earn. Similarly Ibis and below.
