Citi Ready Credit - 70k Velocity points with $500 balance transfer

Received email from citi ready credit to provide my velocity number just now.

Made the $5k balance transfer on 24th June. So 3 weeks to receive the email

You use the BPay number 49528 and your account number as the reference number.

Any DP for who recently approved before the cut off period for Ready Credit? done transferred on 11 July.

Haven't got any email from Citi except the change from Citi ready credit to normal Credit Card

I haven't either. Mind you, I'm now thinking if it takes a few more weeks to lob in, I could wait most of the eight weeks to give the number and hopefully get the QF points credited in my new membership year for PC purposes...

Email from Citibank asking for my QFF number arrived today. Will hold fire until the end of September to maximise my likelihood that the points hit in my new membership year (starting 1 November).

Got the request for my Velocity number this afternoon too. Shame it didn’t come quick enough to avoid the $199 fee like last time but can’t complain. Good process once again and will cancel as soon as the points hit.

Same here. Does this mean they sent these out in one batch to everyone regardless of time of application/transfers?

Think it only took another week for points to hit afterwards last time around?

Thanks for this - it gives me comfort that if I give my number late in September, the points won't hit until November (when my new membership year starts).

my partner also still waiting for her Qantas points bonus.
received the email asking for Qantas number at the same time as my email for VFF number.
so I think we should receive the Qantas and Velocity points at the same time.

Just went back and double checked my one from last year, got the points 4 days after the email lol.

Edit: if it does end up taking 6 weeks or more this time gonna need to move money out again to keep the balance in debt? Statement payment is due before that.
