13 Aug 2025 - Qf T&Cs changes

I saw a note at the bottom of the myQFF page on the app. the link under "Find out more" just goes to the whole list of T&Cs. How hard is it to just have a summary of the changes? Banks have no problem summarising which clauses have changed. Screenshot_20250817_124355_Qantas.jpg

Yeah I found above by flicking through / was prompted to look because of this in app message.

I haven’t notice anything else different but only had a brief look.

They definitely have.
Was that something that was changed in the covid years and now getting changed back. Apart from DSC promos I am 99% sure SCs from bonus points, points club roll over and for a shot period of time those earnt via a CC never counted towards P1. @RichardMEL will most likely know the in's and out's.

Could also just be a matter of what Qantas says in their T&Cs versus what happens in reality (e.g. DSC promos).

None of the others you mentioned ever counted for P1 but since Covid the 50SC did. They have previously announced the end to this in other years.
Perhaps this is finally ending.
Still counts towards LTP though so I will continue to select it.

Over the years we have had discussions about P1, in Jan 19 I had caught up with @boomy and mentioned I was done with P1 and would retain through to mid 2020. At that point and I am not sure if LTP had been announced boomy asked if similar to BA would you stay with QF, the simple answer was yes. Once LTP announced at 75K SCs and with, at the time, a 8 figure points balance I am still happy with my decision not to pursue P1 and burn points.

I will openly admit I am out of touch with many of the FF and hotel programs, but at the same time have travelled solo and with the family just on points. There were a few flights I had to pay for and I am still working on burning through points (SQ and VA were the first to go) and it is not like the Noah's (formally Matt_01's) haven't travelled over the past few years.
