New Cathay Pacific 777-300ER interior

Haven’t seen any news here, but seems like the aria suite is operating on CX104/105 MEL-HKG as of 2 days ago. Bummer as I was on CX104 last week on the old 777!

Yup, I have one of these flights booked in a few months and seat map updated a few weeks ago to reflect that consistent with the Aria suite, hopefully no changes before the flight! Old layout to HKG (CX178), new layout back (CX105)

Yep, stopped by today.

Bit of interest there with a small queue to enter the spot prize draw. Won a bag tag.

There was also a separate draw for 2 tickets to Hong Kong.

There was a CX FA and engineer to show you around and answer questions

The seats themselves had less of a queue. The PE one had no queue. There were 2 business class seats (left window versions).

Having flown PE on the Aria aircraft (walked past the business suite), it looks very identical to what was displayed. However, the distance between the seats were less than the actual product due to some restrictions with the display area

I made it to Chatswood today - and also won a bag tag! Had choice of 3 tags or 2 different totes (have too many totes already).
I was there within the first hour, and already there was at least a dozen lined up for the seats, only two for the instant win line. Didn't line up for the seats as I'm a fair chance for the real deal later in the year, plus it's a bit early in the day to be queueing for a seat!
Overheard one of the staff chatting to centre security, apparently they were turning people away at 9pm on the first day!

Went with the classic Hong Kong tag. Cash value (HKD110) is the same for tote or tag.
