IJQ and IWQ have the new seats but are still in the old configuration.

IJR/IJU/IWY/IXJ/IXK have the new J seats and new configuration.

8II is due to ferry to Florida on Wednesday for wifi installation before onward delivery to Australia.

8IJ has commenced test flights, while 8IK/8VA/8VB have all been spotted on the flight line in Seattle.

A whole bunch left today for what appears to be heavy maintenance. Most seem like they are ready for a D check. Seems like they will be hanging onto VUE for many more years.

8II has departed Florida on delivery to Brisbane. Should arrive on Thursday.

8IJ positions to Florida for wifi installation on Thursday.

8IK and 8VA have commenced test flights.

The MAX has also started flying to a number of domestic ports with recent visits to MKY, PPP, MCY, ROK and TSV.

Previously the MAX didn’t venture outside of ADL/BNE/CNS/DRW/OOL/MEL/PER/SYD.

According to the Prospectus, 6 due this half, and further 6 in the second. The final 6 due in the back half of next year.

Then we have a lag of a year until the MAX10 which is late 2027. I somewhat doubt they will covert away anymore -10s as they need to retain a small sub fleet of the higher density aircraft.

Might be another order due soon for more E2s and a 737 delivery plan for the 2030s. The current BSIs are likely good for another decade before starting to creep into 25 odd years plus.

Yes. It's been that way for a while now.

Wifi is also being fitted to most of the remaining 800s without it.

The max has been a regular to NAN. Out of BNE it's been exclusive max on ISH. All my flights into NAN have been on the max8.

We just returned from NAN to MEL and had the old 800 tube.
Was a MAX day prior & post our flight.

Last year we were on the first MAX flight to MEL from NAN.

All good.
